Stitched-panel skirt in Shetland wool
Prada • Fall-Winter 1998
-
For the FW 1998 season, minimalist silhouettes are given a futuristic slant at Prada. Skirts were spliced in various ways; for this one made in double-faced Shetland wool, in lieu of seams rectangular panels appear to be basted together by thread bars to assemble the entirety of the skirt. The gaps between these panels provide some slight give for the wearer while revealing hints of skin. This piece comes with a matching underskirt in silk satin.
