For Spring/Summer 2013, Phoebe Philo delivers a more noticeably relaxed and laid-back collection at Céline relative to her previous offerings. Easy separates in satin, crepe, and leather were designed with twists and knots and finished with raw-edge hems, conveying a sense of refined nonchalance.
One such piece is this sleeveless high collar top, worn on Look 11 on the runway.
Cut in a structured satin fabric, the top is crafted with a high-neck collar that joins the top's left and right panels in a loosely rolled twist detail, creating room for the bust and providing a relaxed fit. This front twist descends into an asymmetrical hemline that barely reveals the midriff.
This piece was featured in Céline’s S/S 2013 campaign, worn by house muse Daria Werbowy.
