For Resort 2018, Céline elevates the humble t-shirt: a cape is affixed on the yoke and sleeves, split down the middle, and finished with lambskin leather trim. The result is utterly functional: the cape becomes two conveniently attached shawls, which can be slung across the shoulder or over a sleeve.
Cut to a slightly cropped fit, the tee is made in white cotton jersey with a blue sponge-painting style print – perhaps a riff on t-shirts as the subject of such DIY home art projects.
