Flared skirt in compact knit viscose

Functional separates with clean lines ran through Céline’s Fall 2013 effort which put ease and comfort to the fore. Plain high-necks were complemented by equally easy flared skirts such as this powder pink one made in a knit fabrication.

The decisively minimal quality of the skirt is possible due to its well-considered choice of fabric: a fluid compact-knit viscose fabric that offers ample stretch, making it easy to slip on. The fabric has a subtle heft that gives the lightly fluted hems a bit of swing.

The skirt is constructed from a precisely cut panel of this fabric, which is looped to meet onto a single vertical seam that ends up on the center back.
