Edge-painted jacket in satin
Loewe • Spring-Summer 2016

At Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2016 show, Jonathan Anderson makes extensive use of synthetic materials throughout the collection to create tactility and tension against the house’s heritage leathers.
An oversized multi-pocket jacket in black technical satin is transformed through the addition of exposed darts on the front and back. The resulting cinched shape complements the jacket's wide sleeves, creating a haori-like appearance. Contrasting white paint hand-applied on the raw-edge hems adds an artisanal touch.
